LemPlates requires an internet connection for most features like syncing data and running templates. However, once a page is loaded, basic viewing works even with intermittent connectivity.

Question 7

How do I create an account?

Accepted Answer

Question 9

What is a "Run"?

A run is a single execution of a template. When you start a run, you get a fresh checklist to work through. Check off steps as you complete them, add notes, and track your progress. Think of a template as a recipe and a run as cooking that recipe once.

Question 10

How do I install LemPlates on my phone?

Accepted Answer

Open LemPlates in your mobile browser. You'll see an "Install" prompt or you can tap the browser menu and select "Add to Home Screen". This gives you a native app-like experience.

Question 11

Accepted Answer

Your dashboard gives you a quick overview: your templates, active runs, recent activity, completion rates, and streaks. It's your central hub for everything happening in LemPlates.

Question 12

How do I navigate the app?

Accepted Answer

Use the sidebar on desktop or the bottom navigation bar on mobile. Key sections include Dashboard, Templates, Runs, Analytics, and Settings. The quick links menu gives fast access to Teams, Marketplace, and Help.

Question 13

How do I edit an existing template?

Accepted Answer

Open the template and click "Edit". You can modify the title, description, steps, time estimates, and more. Changes only affect future runs — existing runs keep the original steps.

Question 14

Can I reorder steps in a template?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In the template editor, drag and drop steps to reorder them. You can also use the arrow buttons to move steps up or down.

Question 15

How do I add notes to a run step?

Accepted Answer

During a run, click on any step to expand it. You'll see a notes field where you can type or use the voice input button to dictate notes. Notes are saved automatically with the run.

Question 16

Can I pause and resume a run?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Runs stay active until you complete or abandon them. You can close the app and come back anytime — your progress is saved. The run timer tracks total elapsed time.

Question 17

What is the AI Template Drafter?

Accepted Answer

The AI Template Drafter lets you describe a process in plain language and automatically generates a structured template with steps. It's a Pro feature that saves time when creating complex templates.

Question 18

Can I export a run as PDF?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Completed runs can be exported as PDF reports that include all steps, notes, completion times, and a summary. Great for compliance, auditing, or sharing with stakeholders.

Question 19

What are Process Flows?

Accepted Answer

Process Flows are visual representations of your templates that show the step-by-step flow. They help you visualise and communicate your processes more clearly.

Question 20

Accepted Answer

Find a template you like and click "Clone". It will be copied to your personal library where you can customise it to fit your needs. The original creator is credited.

Accepted Answer

Question 27

My run steps aren't saving. What should I do?

Check your internet connection first. If the issue persists, try refreshing the page. LemPlates auto-saves progress, so your data should sync once connectivity is restored.

Question 28

Accepted Answer

Check your filters — you might have a category or search filter active. Also verify you're in the correct workspace (personal vs. team). If templates are still missing, try refreshing the page.

Question 29

The app feels slow. How can I speed it up?

Accepted Answer

Try clearing your browser cache and refreshing. Make sure you're using a modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). If you have many active runs, completing or archiving old ones can help.

Question 30

I'm getting a permission error. What does it mean?

Permission errors usually mean you're trying to access something outside your role. Check with your team owner if you need elevated access. For personal templates, make sure you're logged into the correct account.

Question 31

Accepted Answer

Voice input uses your browser's speech recognition. Make sure you've granted microphone permission. It works best in Chrome. Check that your microphone is connected and not muted in your system settings.

Question 32

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

Accepted Answer

Click "Forgot password?" on the sign-in page and enter your email. You'll receive a reset link. If you signed up with Google, use the Google sign-in button instead — there's no separate password.
